“Floribama Shore” star Nilsa Prowant is a mom.
The reality star, 27, gave birth to her first child, a son named Gray Allen, on Thursday at 1:56 a.m. She announced the newborn’s arrival via Instagram with a sweet snap holding Gray next to her fiancé, Gus Gazda, in her hospital bed.
“31 hours of labor to get you here and I would do it all over again just for you,” she captioned the post. “He is completely perfect in every single possible way. We are so blessed! Thank you God for our beautiful baby boy 💙 this is everything I have always wanted, a family of my own with the man of my dreams. ✨”
She added that Gray weighed in at 7 lbs. 14 oz. and was 19-and-a-half inches long.
“Jersey Shore” star Jenni “JWoww” Farley commented, “Yay! Congratulations 😍,” while Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi wrote, “Congrats ! Welcome to the Mawma club 🍷.”
Prowant revealed earlier this month that she was diagnosed with polyhydramnios at her 37-week mark, meaning that she had too much amniotic fluid around Gray in her uterus (per Mayo Clinic). Luckily, she and the baby are in good health now.
Prowant announced that she was pregnant in December while filming the MTV series.
Just weeks after announcing they were expecting their first child together, Nilsa shared that she and Gus are getting married. She posted a pic of Gus proposing in front of a Christmas tree on January 2, which also happened to be her birthday.
She told Page Six ahead of the reality show’s premiere in February that she developed an even stronger bond with some of her co-stars because she was pregnant throughout their time together in the house.
“I know I got closer with Jeremiah [Buoni] and Candace [Rice] because I feel like they really respected my pregnancy. If I needed to go on a walk, Jeremiah would take me on a walk. I mean, look at that body — he obviously walks a lot!” Prowant joked.
“And then Candace was like a big sister to me, just always asking, ‘Hey, can I get you anything? Do you need anything?’ Always in my corner. My roommates giving me that respect and respecting that I’m going through a hard time and I’m also pregnant, it really meant a lot to me.”
