Girls Aloud singer Kimberley Walsh is now mother to three sons after giving birth to baby boy Nate on May 28
Kimberley Walsh secretly welcomed her third child into the world with her husband Justin Scott last month.
The Girls Aloud singer, 39, gave birth to a little boy on May 28th in the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital in West London and has shared that she and Justin – who are also parents to six-year-old Bobby and four-year-old Cole – decided to name their new addition Nate.
Hitmaker Kimberley has also told that her tot weighed in at 7lb 4oz during a big reveal with OK! magazine.
Sharing on how she decided on the moniker for her third child, she gushed: “I’ve always liked the name.
“There was a Nate in Boyz II Men and I’ve known a few people in the industry with the name and it’s quite American-sounding, and so is Cole, so I felt like they went well together.”
“I’ve also watched a few American series recently with characters called Nate, like How To Get Away With Murder, and the name felt right when I heard it.”
Kimberley also added that she and Justin vowed not to name their newborn until they got home but that their other sons “were adamant that was his name” before telling her that the two boys re loving helping her out with Nate.
Elsewhere during the chat, the talent show sensation explained how Nate came earlier than his June 8 due date because she needed to be induced.
