It’s been over a decade since America Ferrera, Blake Lively, Alexis Bledel and Amber Tamblyn starred in the 2005 teen blockbuster, “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.” While the girls may not actually share a pair of jeans in real life, America revealed that they still keep in touch regularly with a group chat dedicated to just their clique. “We have a text thread,” she told Busy Philipps during an appearance on “Busy Tonight” on Monday, March 4. “Breaking news! There is a ‘Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants’ text thread. I go to them for for everything.” Maintaining genuine relationships in Hollywood can be tough, but America says it’s what brought them together as women for the long haul. “We’re all having such similar experiences, but you can’t know it if you don’t build community and you don’t build relationships,” she added. The foursome reunited for a sequel back in 2008 and have expressed the desire to make a third, though nothing has been confirmed.
