One month after they announced they were separating, Zooey Deschanel and her husband, Joseph Pechenik are on their way to a divorce. Page Six reports Joseph filed documents requesting an end to their marriage of four years on Tuesday, Oct. 22, in Los Angeles. The former couple share a son, Charlie, and a daughter, Elsie. When they announced their split, they said in a joint statement that they’d “decided we are better off as friends, business partners and co-parents rather than life partners.” Zooey has since moved on from Joseph with “Property Brothers” star Jonathan Scott.
