Katie Holmes is desperate to keep Jamie Foxx interested in her, reports Life & Style. To that end, it’s said she has spent thousands on a makeover.
The outlet points to a July 18 outing with Foxx, where Holmes “ditched her dowdy dungarees and frumpy hats and stepped out in a sexy off-the-shoulder bodice top and shorts.” The publication reveals her wardrobe was the result of Foxx hanging out with “other women” during a trip to Miami last month, as well as a July Fourth celebration with Kristin Grannis, the mother of one of his daughters.
Explains a source, “When Jamie hits the club, he’s often surrounded by gorgeous girls. That’s a lot of competition. So Katie went on a shopping spree before their big date and spent tens of thousands on new clothes.” It’s not shared when this “spree” took place or what exactly Holmes bought. Still, the magazine’s insider maintains, “Katie thought it was time to up her game. She wants to look sexy for her man.”
But Gossip Cop did an online image search that shows this was not the first time Holmes bared some skin. Back in 2014, for example, she paired a bikini top with short shorts. It was her daughter by her side then, not Foxx. He similarly wasn’t present last fall when Holmes stepped out in a lace bra top.
The tabloid wants readers to think this latest style choice was a “striking departure from her usual look,” but there are plenty of photos showing otherwise. Holmes’ spokesperson further confirms to us this “makeover” tale is “not true.”
