A few weeks ago, Selma Blair was struggling so much with the effects of medical treatments for multiple sclerosis she said she couldn’t “imagine ever feeling OK again.” She’s clearly pulled out of that funk — thanks in large part to Pink, whom she revealed to be one of her closest pals over the weekend. The actress and singer spent Memorial Day together at Pink’s home — presumably the one in Santa Barbara County where she’s been making her own wine — and Selma sounded like she was experiencing some serious friendship bliss in the posts she shared from the day. “This picture was taken after the most dramatic stop drop and roll maneuver performed by yours truly,” Selma joked in the caption on a photo of the two together. “I was so startled to see @pink 💓💓 come up behind me ( at her house , mind you) that my overactive startle reflex kicked in and I went flying. This happens to me. My kid thinks it is hysterical,” she continued. “My beloved friend… we had a good laugh too. My favorite. Fall, tackle , hug, laugh, repeat. Take a picture. #heaven. My inspiration for joy every day @pink I love you so much. #nobodydoesitbetter thank you for loving life to the fullest. #love love #pink #selma #keepsmegoing #hurts2bhuman 👻 we cried😂 best drop and roll around partner ever 🙌.” After ending the post with the sweet thought, “I love you sister soul,” she added a photo of Pink hugging her 7-year-old son, Arthur. “These two. Make me feel full of love and pride. 💘 a photo of them together again… priceless,” Selma wrote alongside the shot, adding the hashtags, “#pink #arthursaintbleick #memorialdayweekend . I love . #beautifulsouls #family #whataboutlove.” In a third post, Selma wrote that she’s happy if Arthur’s happy, then thanked her pal for having them over with, “… And we love you @pink 💘 for making this day a beautiful one. As always.” Selma revealed she has MS in October and has been vocal about her battle with the disease — and with doctors who failed to diagnose her symptoms correctly for years.
