Taylor Swift is wearing a massive diamond ring in her new documentary
Taylor Swift’s new Netflix documentary hit the Interwebs on Friday, Jan. 31, and it featured one unspoken potential bombshell. During a scene in “Miss Americana” where the singer discusses her decision to speak out about politics, she says, “I want to be on the right side of history.” Then, according to Cosmopolitan, her left hand gets lifted into the screen. On the ring finger is a huge diamond sparkler. That’s it, though. At Sundance, InStyle asked the doc’s director Lana Wilson about the ring and she acted surprised. “Whoa,” she said. “I’m going to have to revisit that scene.” Taylor and Joe were first linked in 2017, at which point they’d reportedly been dating for months, They’ve kept as much as possible about their romance on the down-low since then, although he does appear in the doc. Taylor even “mouths ‘I love you'” to him at one point, according to Cosmo.
