Kit Harington and wife Rose Leslie make a rare appearance in London two months on from wedding… as Game Of Thrones actor tries to kick the habit with a nicotine inhaler

They wed at stunning Wardhill Castle in Aberdeenshire in June.

And having kept a low profile since then, enjoying time on their own as newlyweds, Kit Harington and Rose Leslie stepped out in Islington, London, on Tuesday.

The loved up couple were seen each wearing jeans and black tops – with Game Of Thrones actor Kit, 31, dragging on a nicotine inhaler.

Rose, 31, left her russet bob loose in waves around her delicate features as she slipped her lithe frame into a form-fitting sweater, featuring a red, green and yellow striped pattern across the middle.

She accentuated her natural beauty with deftly touches of make-up.

Kit wore a muscle tee and glasses as he strolled alongside his actress wife, using the inhaler in his attempts to kick the habit.

Kit and Rose met when they starred alongside one another on Game Of Thrones as Jon Snow and Ygritte in the HBO fantasy franchise.

While Rose is on hiatus before returning to production on her CBS TV series The Good Fight in the US, Kit is no doubt enjoying some downtime from the spotlight before the final season of GOT returns in 2019.

Rose left the series at the end of season 4 when her character was killed by an arrow through the chest. She moved on to The Good Wife spin off in 2017 and it is about to enter its third season.

GOT’s season 8 is the much-anticipated finale run, which Kit has completed filming on.

Fans of the show are still unsure of precisely when the show will return for its last hurrah, but HBO a minuscule snippet of footage from it on Monday when they debuted a teaser for the shows set to air in 2019.

It featured Kit as Jon, hugging his estranged cousin Sansa Stark.

In what would be a monumental reunion ordinarily seems to be laced with doom, as Jon hugs a haunted-looking Sansa in the blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment.

Fans are desperate for the return of the fantasy drama, after visual effects supervisor Joe Bauer revealed that the crew has just now started working on the Emmy-nominated series.

‘In two years we’ll be eligible for the season 8 work,’ he said during an interview with Huffington Post, ‘which we’re just beginning now.’

Bauer was referring to Emmy consideration, with a May 31 cut-off date to be eligible for an award at the 2019 telecast.

‘We’re going to be toiling away on season 8 until May of 2019, so it’s eight or nine months away,’ he added.

It’s noted that the Emmy’s have made exceptions for ‘hanging episodes’ which air after the time frame which can still be considered for an award.

The setting of Kit and Rose’s wedding – Wardhill Castle – has been in the bride’s family for a number of years. The couple were pictured being showered with confetti by their friends and family after the ceremony, held at the historic Rayne Church close to the sprawling country estate.

The bride and her London-born husband beamed as they left the church – walking hand-in-hand under three hand-crafted wooden arches draped in vines.

They were then driven to the Castle in a Land Rover Defender, draped in a white, silk ribbon, with ‘just married’ painted on the front.

A host of Game Of Thrones co-stars joined the couple for celebrations, including Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, Emilia Clarke and Peter Dinklage.

According to neighbors, celebrations – that included a live music set by band Mumford and Sons – went on into the early hours of the morning.

The pair announced their engagement in September 2017, after five years of romance.

Opting to follow tradition, the couple made their announcement in The Times newspaper – a method also used by Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter.
