Mischa Barton Hopes ‘The Hills: New Beginnings’ Will Be Her TV Comeback
Mischa Barton has high hopes for The Hills revival.
The star, who rose to success after starting as Marissa Cooper on
The O.C., saw her career take a big dip after the other popular series that
made her a household name got canceled. But with
The Hills: New Beginnings officially in the works, Barton hopes that the
reboot will usher in her big TV comeback.
Barton has not had an easy journey following the end of her television career. In the past 10 years,
Barton experienced problems with drugs and mental illness, and even released an embarrassing sex
tape released in a revenge porn case that made major headlines.
My interest level in MTV’s reboot of “The Hills” just went from a 2.5 to a solid 12 https://t.co/stMJ3udJZU

But with MTV planning on reviving The Hills next year,
Barton hopes she can turn things around for good.
According to Radar Online, Barton is joining many of the show’s original
cast members for the reboot, including Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag.
Audrina Patridge and Brody Jenner are also expected to make appearances,
and they are bringing their children along with them.
Barton has not commented on the latest rumors surrounding her comeback,
but she was recently spotted on a dinner outing in Hollywood.
Barton sported a long coat and heels for the outing and appeared
happier than she has been in a long time.
She even managed a short wave for the cameras and was clearly in a good mood.
With The Hills revival looking as promising as ever, Barton had
plenty of reasons to smile.
Given the popularity of the original show, it is possible that
‘The Hills: New Beginnings’ is the start of a new chapter for
Mischa Barton and the rest of her co-stars,
many of whom have also faded from the limelight.
