Jennifer Aniston and Julia Roberts are feuding, reveals the National Enquirer.
The magazine relates that the two stars are battling over whose TV series will be a bigger hit.
A source tells the publication, “They may have been buddies once,
but now that they’re in direct competition with new TV shows, things have grown incredibly tense.”
The insiders adds, they’re “going head-to-head and neither wants to lose.”
The tabloid’s story, however, is completely bogus. Roberts’ show “Homecoming”
debuts next month on Amazon, while Aniston has yet to even begin production on
her series, which will be on Apple TV next year. The two shows aren’t going “head-to-head” in any manner.
More significantly, both programs will be on streaming services, meaning viewers
can watch anytime they want. It’s not as if Aniston and Roberts have shows competing on
the the same day and time slot.
The tabloid’s article has other mistakes, too. The so-called “source” alleges Aniston and Roberts
“were very frosty with each other at this year’s Emmys.”
The problem is neither actress attended the 2018 Emmy Awards.
Still, Gossip Cop checked in with Aniston’s rep, who tells us the magazine’s
story it’s 100 percent untrue. The reality is Aniston and Roberts are friends and even
worked together on the 2016 comedy Mother’s Day.
