Dolores Catania of ‘RHONJ’ says most of her family had COVID over the holidays.

“Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Dolores Catania says most of her family had COVID over the holiday. But she seems to have managed to escape the virus.

Catania told Page Six that her daughter Gabrielle and son Frank Jr. started having symptoms on December 23, and then her ex-husband Frank — who lives with them — tested positive, even though he didn’t suffer excessively from it.

“I never got it; I couldn’t catch COVID if I tried,” she joked. “I took care of everyone who had it in the house.”

She told us she quarantined just in case, and didn’t leave the house until January 3. “I was exposed to it. It was in my house, so I had no right to go out and spread it just in case I had it,” she told us.

Dolores told us that a few days before Christmas, “My daughter said, ‘Everything hurts me. My head hurts. The [bedsheets] on my back hurt. My body hurts me,’ and I told her, ‘You got COVID.’” She added, “And then my son was coughing, and I’m like, ‘You too?!’”

When asked if she was scared to catch COVID, she told us, “No. Is a mother scared to take care of her kids when they have the flu? It’s my duty as a mother.”

She told us that 25-year-old Gabrielle kidded that she couldn’t succumb to the illness because she’d just achieved her dream of passing the veterinarian’s exams.

“Gabrielle was like, ‘There’s no way in hell COVID is going to take me out … I’m graduating in May,” she told us.

She took the exams in December and will be graduating from Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in Massachusetts.
