‘Bachelor’ alum Lauren Bushnell, singer Chris Lane are married after four-month engagement
Congratulations are in order for Lauren Bushnell and Chis Lane – they’re married!
The “Bachelor” alum, 29, and country singer, 34, tied the knot on Friday in Nashville, the couple shared with People.
The couple also confirmed the marriage on their respective social media accounts.
Lane shared a photo to his Instagram with the caption: “Woke up a married man!”
Bushnell shared the same image, writing, “The Lanes” with heart emojis.
Other “Bachelor” alums took to the comment section of her post to share their congratulations.
“You guys are the best! Congrats lovebirds,” Arie Luyendyk commented.
Luyendyk’s wife, Lauren Burnham Luyendyk, also commented: “Congrats you two lovebirds!”
The couple’s engagement lasted about four months. Bushnell said yes when Lane popped the question in his family’s backyard in Oregon in June 2019.
Days later, Ben Higgins, the man who popped the question to her on the reality dating show “The Bachelor” said he had feelings about it.
“My life will always be tied at some level to Lauren and Lauren’s to mine,” Season 16 Bachelor Ben Higgins told podcasting partner and former contestant Ashley Iaconetti on an episode of “The Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast.”
“There’s two ways to leave relationships,” he added. “You leave them maybe angry and resentful, or you leave them knowing it was for the best and that the world and life will offer you great things afterwards. And, that’s how Lauren and I left our relationship.”
Though Higgins and Bushnell got engaged on the show in 2016, they parted ways the following year.
