Rihanna has filed suit against her father. TMZ reports Ronald Fenty launched Fenty Entertainment, a talent development company, in 2017 after the singer had trademarked the name Fenty for her own businesses. She says her dad is using her reputation to make money through the company, which she claims pretended they represent her while attempting to book her for $15 million worth of concerts. She adds that Ronald tried to trademark the use of the name “Fenty” for resort boutique hotels — and failed. Having tried to go the cease and desist letter route, Rihanna us suing for damages and asking for an injunction on her dad’s use of the Fenty name for his business.
