Dustin Diamond’s Wisconsin home is on the verge of being foreclosed o
TMZ reports that the former “Saved By The Bell” star owes Wells Fargo nearly $270,000, and the bank is asking the court to sign off on the foreclosure.
The impending bank action doesn’t mean Dustin will be homeless. In fact, he says he hasn’t been to that home in about a year and a half, as he’s been living in Florida.
Dustin told TMZ he bought the home for $340,000 in 2003. The house hasn’t been without its problems. Last fall, Dustin said a friend told him that a water main broke in the house and caused massive damage, ruining hundreds of valuable keepsakes in the home’s basement. Water, he said, was even flowing out of a first-floor window.
The actor never went to check on the home after the water main broke because everything froze over and eventually caused black mold. He said he planned to go after the ice melted but the coronavirus pandemic prevented him from doing so.
“Foreclosure means nothing when a house is destroyed … with my items I’ve lost, it now feels like Wells Fargo is trying to kick me when I’m down,” Dustin said.
