Arnold Schwarzenegger, 73, continues remarkable recovery from third heart surgery by going on his near-daily bike ride around Brentwood neighborhood

Arnold Schwarzenegger is letting a third heart surgery slow him down from his daily exercise regimen.

And on Monday, the former California governor was spotted cruising around the streets on his bicycle near his home in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles.

The Terminator star, 73, underwent elective heart surgery to replace a defective, congenital aortic heart valve last month in Cleveland, Ohio.

The exercise enthusiast opted for casual wear in grey pants, a black jacket and white old-school Adidas sneakers.

With the the sun glaring down, he also donned stylish sunglasses and had his short hair slicked back off his face.

Schwarzenegger also made sure to secure a protective mask over his mouth and nose, in adherence to health and safety protocols put in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Health concerns: Schwarzenegger has had three heart surgeries since 1997

The father of five took to Instagram just three days ago to reveal: ‘I just went on my first bike ride since my heart surgery, and I’m feeling good.’

His bike ride came just 13 days after he shared a photo of himself in a hospital bed giving a thumbs up, as well as a few other pics showing him on a walk outside the hospital.

‘I have a new aortic valve to go along with my new pulmonary valve from my last surgery,’ he shared in the caption, along with his thanks to the hospital staff.

Schwarzenegger was born with a bicuspid aortic valve, an aortic valve with only two leaflets; a normal aortic valve has three leaflets.

He opted for a replacement heart valve made of his own transplanted tissue in 1997. Medical experts predicted at the time that he would require heart valve replacement surgery in the following two to eight years due.

Schwarzenegger underwent emergency open-heart surgery for replacement of his previos pulmonic valve in March of 2018.
