‘Today’ show stars rally around Al Roker following cancer diagnosis.

Al Roker’s “Today” show co-hosts have rallied around the NBC weatherman following his announcement Friday that he’s been diagnosed with prostate cancer, and will be taking time off to undergo surgery.

Co-anchor Savannah Guthrie took to social media to send Roker well wishes, sharing a behind-the-scenes snap of them together alongside her heartfelt caption.

“I adore you, dearest @alroker,” she wrote. “We know you will beat this prostate cancer and be back in no time. All our love and prayers. And thanks for sharing your journey so that others may be helped too. So much respect. ❤️.”

Hoda Kotb also dedicated a post to her colleague, thanking Roker for his support during her greatest and most trying times while promising to return the favor.

“Our al. You never miss a milestone,” she began. “you’ve been there for all of our moments… good or painful.. Haley’s arrival… my breast cancer diagnosis…. know this @alroker we will be here for you too…. you’ve got this ❤️.”

Dylan Dreyer detailed Roker’s gracious nature while soliciting prayers for the popular television personality.

“Al is the first person to visit, the first person to send a hand written note, the first person to call and reach out during good and bad times,” Dreyer shared. “His positivity is genuine and infectious. Please keep this wonderful man in your prayers as he undergoes treatment for prostate cancer. And use his diagnosis as a reminder for the men in your lives to get checked! You got this buddy!!!”

Correspondent Sheinelle Jones shared several photos of herself and Roker while echoing Kotb’s message of repaying the ABC staple for his continued support.

“You’re hearing it from all of us today, he is ALWAYS there for us,” she shared. “Now, we are here for him as he battles prostate cancer.”

Jenna Bush Hager kept her message for the Roker short and sweet, sharing to her Instagram stories, “@alroker is a light — all energy and enthusiasm and kindness. god bless him.”

Finally, anchor Craig Melvin acknowledged the “Today” show veteran as a “dear friend, mentor, road dog, and brother from another mother.”

“For those who know its power, offer up a prayer for our guy,” he added. “As I said this am, that cancer picked the wrong prostate. You got this, Al.”

Roker, 66, revealed that he was diagnosed during a routine check-up in September.

“And it’s a good news-bad news kind of thing,” he said. “The good news is we caught it early, not great news is that it’s a little aggressive so I’m going to be taking some time off to take care of this.”
