Fans of Game of Thrones are definitely not ready to see the popular show’s last episode and especially not its ending! According to actress Emilia Clarke, it will shock its viewers!
While in attendance at the Oscars, Emilia chatted with E!’s Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet.
The man asked her how she thought people would react to the series’ finale and the star made it very clear that there is only one thing they would feel after that last scene – ‘shock!’
‘Not enthusiastic, not pleased, but shocked?’ Seacrest then asked.
Emilia went on to tease the fans, saying: ‘It’s going to be massive, that much everybody needs to know. It took us a really long time to film this one for a good reason. But I think there are going to be some things…I know there are going to be a few things in the last season that will shock people.’
And since it is pretty much a tradition for actors to take a little souvenir or two from the set after wrapping up a show, Seacrest wondered if she’s taken anything or not.
Emilia admitted that she did not for two main reasons – she was being watched ‘all the time’ and she is also a ‘goody-two-shoes.’
Still, that is not to say that she did not attempt to go home with a memorable prop.
‘I tried to throw some things under the wig, hide them in my bag, nothing. Apparently the throne itself you cannot…I was just there pushing it trying to get it in the car. It did not fit, so what are you gonna do?’ she joked.
